Speranza Therapeutics is a medical device company that has launched an FDA-cleared neuromodulation percutaneous nerve field stimulator (PNFS), known as S.T. Genesis. S.T. Genesis is indicated for the rapid reduction of opioid-related withdrawal symptoms, which can decrease COWS scores up to 85% within the first 60 minutes of application. It is designed to remain in place for a total of 5 days continuously. At the conclusion of 5 days, the device is removed and disposed. Once removed, the patient is cleared for the next phase of their recovery, where they will continue with supportive therapy as well as MAT and suboxone.
