Josiah D. Morita is sophmore at The George Washington University pursuing a B.S. in Biological Sciences. He grew up in Honolulu, HI and attended highschool at 'Iolani School. He is interested in pursuing a career in medicine and research. In the summer of 2021, he participated in a congressional internship on Capitol Hill where his project focused on the lack of recogniton for indigenous peoples in federal government. More recently in the summer of 2023, he completed a summer research internship at The Queen's Medical Center in Honolulu, HI. His project explored the stakeholder insights to improving care for trauma patients who use methamphetamines.
