Irena Kuan is a current fourth-year medical student at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. She is from Marietta, Georgia and graduated from Emory University in 2020 with a Bachelors of Science Major in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology and a Minor in Music. In her time in medical school, she has been involved with research into substance use among pregnant women. She is applying into an Obstetrics and Gynecology residency.
