Dr. Shashi Kapadia MD is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York City. He is jointly board-certified in infectious diseases and in addiction medicine. He is a health services researcher whose work has focused on the equitable delivery of healthcare for people who use drugs and people living with HIV. He conducts both observational and interventional clinical research related to the delivery of treatment for the infectious complications of drug use, particularly hepatitis C, HIV, and bacterial infections.
