Samia Ismail (any pronouns) is currently an MPH student at the Boston University School of Public Health. They earned their B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Arkansas before working in the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy as a Truman-Albright Fellow managing grantees in the Rural Communities Opioid Response Program. Their current research focuses on wound care and healthcare utilization among people who use drugs.
