Allison Kannam is an M.D. candidate at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, IL. She conducts research on harm reduction strategies for opioid overdose prevention, as well as disability accessibility in healthcare. Prior to starting medical school, she worked as an evaluator for the Research & Evaluation Group at Public Health Management Corporation in Philadelphia, PA, where she primarily conducted program evaluations related to tobacco prevention, control, and cessation. She has a BA in Community Health from Tufts University.
