Resident Physician
University of Hawai'i Residency Program in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Nancy Yang is a fourth year resident physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Hawai'i Residency Program. Her interest in substance use began in medical school at the University of Minnesota, when she worked on research regarding HIV, viral hepatitis and substance use in China. Her passion for caring for patients with substance use disorders has continued throughout residency under the incredible mentorship of OBGYN attendings, including Dr. Pangilinan and Dr. Molero-Bravo who mentored her on the posters she submitted to ASAM this year. She will be graduating this June from residency and starting fellowship training in addiction medicine at Swedish Medical Center. She's thrilled to be attending her first ASAM conference this year.
