Jasmine Myrick is the Narcan, Peer, and Research Manager and LGBTQ+ Liaison at The REACH Project Inc., a low-threshold, harm reduction focused medical facility in Ithaca, NY. While working as an EMT she saw first hand how stigmatized vulnerable populations were, igniting a passion to help those within her community. As a woman with lived experience around drug use, and a survivor of intimate partner violence, Jasmine decided obtain her bachelors in Community Health to use her lived experience to help others. Jasmine then interned at REACH, which led to a position on the research team, allowing her to use her personal and professional knowledge to help with initiatives such as Narcan training, organization of peer services, and research and evaluation projects. She is currently a public health graduate student at the University at Albany.
