Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis
Dom Moog, BA, is a third-year medical student at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. They intend to pursue specialization in psychiatry with a focus in addiction medicine. Dom is originally from St. Paul, Minnesota, and pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Gender & Sexuality Studies at the University of Southern California before attending medical school at WashU. Dom's clinical interests include substance use disorders, personality disorders, gender affirmation, humanism and socio-structural medicine, and the intersections of these forces in medicine itself and in individual patients. Their scholarly work primarily focuses on centering the voices of communities historically underserved by medicine, and in developing calls for more holistic, socio-structurally informed plans of care. Additionally, Dom is interested in promoting continuity from research to intervention, working to ensure substantive benefit to the communities represented in research following project completion.
