Sarah Bagley is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics at Boston University School of Medicine, and an Attending Physician in General Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Boston Medical Center. Sarah attended Georgetown University School of Medicine and then completed a Combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Brown University and an Addiction Medicine Fellowship at Boston University School of Medicine. She is the founder and Medical Director of CATALYST at Boston Medical Center providing integrated substance use care and primary care for patients less than 25 years old. She was one of the recipients of the 2017 Ten Outstanding Young Leaders from the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce. Her research focus is on the engagement of young adults who use drugs and their families in care to minimize risk for overdose and the complications of drug use. She has funding from the National Institute on Drug Abuse and the Boston University School of Medicine CTSI to conduct research about engagement in treatment and overdose prevention of young adults after nonfatal opioid overdose, stigma related to medication use for opioid use disorder, and engaging women who use drugs in research.
