Participate in our advanced workshop focused on buprenorphine initiation for individuals who use fentanyl. Discuss challenging case studies, understand the distinctions between low-dose and high-dose pharmacokinetically-guided initiations combining simultaneous buprenorphine and fentanyl. Familiarize yourself with the applications of intravenous, transdermal, and subcutaneous buprenorphine. This workshop aims to elevate clinical proficiency for complex patient scenarios across varied care settings.

Learning Objectives:

Learners will be able to:

1. Upon completion, participants will be able to select patients for low-dose versus buprenorphine initiations and be familiar with transdermal, sublingual, and intravenous approaches to buprenorphine initiation.
2. Upon completion, participants will be able to describe the clinical options for continued full agonist opioids during buprenorphine initiation.
3. Upon completion, participants will be able to implement a comprehensive and detailed approach to precipitated withdrawal including utilization of non-opioids such as ketamine.
