Dr. Blum is a primary care internist and addiction medicine physician at Denver Health and Hospital Authority. He currently serves as the director of outpatient substance use disorder treatment and is the education director of the DH Center for Addiction Medicine (CAM) Academy. He is an institutional quality officer for pain and opioid management and works on initiatives to increase treatment access. He is co-chair of the Provider Education Workgroup at the Colorado Consortium for Prescription Drug Abuse Prevention and a former president of the Colorado Society of Addiction Medicine.
