Dr. Vishesh Agarwal is the Vice-Chair of the Department of Psychiatry at ChristianaCare in Wilmington, Delaware. He is a board-certified general adult psychiatrist, with additional board certification in addiction psychiatry. Along with his clinical duties, he is engaged in psychiatric research and
publication, and has been mentoring, supervising, and instructing resident physicians and student learners receiving clinical training at ChristianaCare.
Dr. Agarwal believes in the value of collaboration in teams to achieve optimal outcomes and improve provider wellbeing. He sits on several system level committees and provides guidance on improving operations, developing care pathways, improving quality and patient satisfaction, provider engagement, physician compensation and clinical growth. He is an invited speaker at regional, and national conferences, and has published in peer-reviewed journals.
