Benjamin Swart, MD

Benjamin B. Swart, MD is an addiction medicine fellow at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota as well as training in Clinical Tropical, Migrant, and Travel Medicine through the University of Minnesota's Department of Global Medicine. He holds a Certificate of Knowledge in Clinical Tropical Medicine and Travelers’ Health (CTropMed®) from the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene. His academic interests include addiction medicine in cross-cultural settings, khat addiction, and naloxone infusions. He lives in Minneapolis with his wife and three children.
