José Peña is a board certified family medicine physician currently practicing full-scope family medicine in Waco, Texas. José is a faculty member of a family medicine residency where he is entrusted in the education and training of future physicians at a federally qualified health center. His general professional interests are maternal-child health and addiction medicine. His additional work focus is on inpatient medicine and simulation training in medical education. When not working, José enjoys time with his wife and two daughters trying new food and spending time exploring the outdoors.
