Jacob P. Scheer, MD

Jacob P. Scheer MD is an Addiction Medicine Fellow at Saint Louis University. He completed his undergraduate work at Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Indiana and went to medical school at Freie Universitaet in Berlin,Germany.He is board certified in Internal medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Southern Illinois University and worked as a hospitalist prior to starting addiction Medicine Training. He is particularly interested in Inpatient Addiction Medicine, Transitions of Care, Trauma, the emotional landscape of humans, and Outpatient Addiction Medicine in treatment deserts. He greatly enjoys providing emotional and therapeutic support in a wholistic manner to all people he gets an opportunity to care for.
