Dr. Sorina Torrez, PharmD, is a second year postgraduate pharmacy resident and Master of Science in pharmacotherapy student at the University of Texas at Austin and UT Health San Antonio. She holds a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree in May 2022 from The University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Torrez is dedicated to advancing patient care for individuals with substance use disorders through her research with the PhARM (Pharmacy Addictions Research and Medicine) program and other colleagues at the University of Texas at Austin, and her clinical interests include ambulatory care, substance use, and psychiatric care in outpatient settings.
