Brian Hurley, MD, MBA, DFASAM, FAPA is an addiction physician and Medical Director Director of Los Angeles County Department of Public Health's Division of Substance Abuse Prevention and Control. He is an Assistant Professor of Addiction Medicine in the Department of Family Medicine at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. He is President of the American Society of Addiction Medicine. Brian provides technical assistance in the delivery of Medications for Addiction Treatment to community health centers, clinical programs, and agencies across the United States, secured several grants from the Sierra Health Foundation to expand addiction medicine services with LA County, and has developed a tobacco treatment implementation program for LA County's community primary care and mental health clinics. Additionally, he is a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers, and provides training in Motivational Interviewing across the United States. Brian completed the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Clinical Scholars Program at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
