Rachel Linstead Goldsmith, MPA is the Comprehensive Opioid Response and Education (CORE) Program Manager for the Center for Public Health Readiness and Response at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), which is also home to the Poison Control Center at CHOP. The CORE Program operates as an enterprise-wide forum for communication, coordination and collaboration to address the opioid/overdose epidemic and its impacts in the region. Prior to joining CHOP, Rachel has worked on public health campaign and programs to increase contraceptive access, assist and enroll the public in Affordable Care Act health coverage, assure quality community services for older adults, improve care standards and support research for adults with congenital heart disease, and support people living with HIV/AIDS through treatment, research and social services.
