Elizabeth A. Steinmiller MSN, PMHCNS-BC is both a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Centralized Behavioral Health and a Behavioral Health CNS Manager at
The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Elizabeth earned her master’s degree in Psychiatric Mental-Health Nursing at Yale University with a specialization in Psychiatric Consultation Liaison Nursing. In 1998, she took her position at CHOP as a licensed Clinical Nurse Specialist. Since 2011, her sole focus has been on helping to build the hospital’s capacity to care for patients with behavioral health concerns. In her role, Elizabeth has led the creation and implementation of several enterprise-wide quality and safety processes, as well as clinical pathways to improve care of patients with behavioral health concerns in the pediatric medical setting.
