Ian Latham, MD is an Addiction Medicine Fellow at the University of Minnesota; he recently completed his residency in Family Medicine at the University of Minnesota / North Memorial residency program. He completed his undergraduate education in Molecular Biology at the University of Wisconsin – Madison and his medical education at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he participated in research in Narrative Medicine, trauma-informed addiction care, and mobile services for buprenorphine treatment. Ian has a particular interest in working with patients who identify within the LGBTQ+ community, the management of behavioral addictions, and the treatment and prevention of viral disease among people living with addiction.
