Michael Baca-Atlas, MD, FASAM is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine and Psychiatry at UNC Chapel Hill. He is board certified in Addiction Medicine and Family Medicine and serves as the medical director for UNC REACH Enhanced Primary Care in Raleigh, NC. REACH is an integrated primary care clinic serving individuals with serious mental illness and severe substance use disorders. He also serves as the Associate Medical Director for the Tobacco Treatment Program at UNC and a medical consultant for UNC Horizons in Raleigh serving pregnant and parenting individuals. He is passionate about behavioral health education and currently serves as the project director for a HRSA primary care training enhancement grant at UNC Family Medicine.
