Barbara Parilla, MD is a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Kentucky, College of Medicine, in Lexington. She serves as the Director of the UK HealthCare Perinatal Assistance and Treatment Home (PATHways) program which provides comprehensive prenatal care, prenatal education, as well as treatment and support for pregnant persons with substance use disorders. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, and Addiction Medicine.
Dr Parilla received her MD degree with Distinction in Research from Stony Brook University in New York, completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at NYU Langone Hospital Long Island, and a Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship at Northwestern University.
