Dr. Evan Schwarz is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine and the Medical Toxicology Fellowship Director at the University of California Los Angeles. Additionally, he works as an attending on the addiction medicine service. He previously was the Medical Toxicology Division Chief at Washington University School of Medicine, where he directed the medical toxicology and addiction medicine consultation service. Additionally, he is board certified in Addiction Medicine. In addition to his work responsibilites, he is a member of the board of directors for the American College of Medical Toxicology, is on the sub board for medical toxicology through the American Board of Emergency Medicine, and was the Past President President of the Missouri College of Emergency Physicians. He was a physician consultant for Missouri’s STR and SOR grant and has taught several x-waiver courses. He formerly was a faculty member for the Univeristy of Missouri's OUD ECHO.
